Yes, of course you may run with your kids! However, there will also be on course marshals and run leaders to make sure your kids get to the finish line! If you decided to run with your children, there is no need to register as an adult for the Kids race. The 8:00am start time of the Kids race also gives you ample time to get back to the start line to race in the 5k or 15k yourself.
Yes, you may push your child in a stroller for any Run Ajax race; however, we do ask that you be aware and courteous to other runners and note that you may be asked to start near the back out of safety concerns.

Yes, there will be race kit pick up available on race day for our out-of-town racers! It will open at 7:30am near the start/finish line.
We will not be offering race day registration.
Parking is available at Rotary Park or any one of the waterfront parking lots located within 1 mile of Rotary Park. We definitely encourage car pooling! Please be advised that if you choose to park at Rotary Park, there may be delays upon exiting due to our races and the use of those roads for a short time period.
Yes, free bag check is available beginning at 7:30a on race day.
ALL our race events are chip-timed. The timing chip will be attached to your race bib that you will pick up during race kit pick up. Please wear your race bib on the front of your person (affix with safety pins) and do not bend or fold the bib in any way. Your chip-time will activate as soon as you cross the starting line and de-activate when you cross the finish line, thus giving you a race time!
All events will run regardless of the weather! Please dress accordingly. Severe weather may result in the cancellation of the event for safety reasons. A cancellation or delayed start notice will be communicated through our Facebook, Instagram and Website. See Cancellation Policy.
Yes, there are 3 water station locations on the race course serving water and electrolytes. Each water station also has a first aid kit. If you are having any issues, please talk to any of the helpful volunteers at the water stations. There will be medical professionals on the course as well in the event of an emergency.
Yes, prizes will be awarded to Age Group Winners in First, Second and Third place.
All finishers of the 5k, and 15k will receive a custom Ajax Waterfront Race medal in celebration of Ajax 70th Anniversary!

Yes, we do allow for walkers in both the 5k and the 15k race, however we do need to enforce strict cut off times due to a variety of reasons and safety concerns. Please be aware the 5km course closes at 9:45 AM. Each individual will need their own race bib on course.
In previous races, the 1k Kids event always sold out, but the free entry led to many no shows on race day, leaving eager kids disappointed. To ensure those who intend to race get the opportunity, there will be a $10 registration fee.
